                      Mission Statement                                                           

The Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department is an incorporated company dedicated to the delivery of quality Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to the residents and visitors of the Area and Worcester County. Funded through County Grants, Donations, and Fund Raisers, the company strives to provide quality and expanded services through emergency responses, stewardship and  training. This mission is accomplished with qualified and dedicated personnel from the community.

Bishopville began @ the site of a mill on and crossing the Bishopville Prong of the St. Martins River.
